Journal # 1

"So far, my project has been going fairly well. I’ve had two sessions of Nature Camp. I have four students, so it’s pretty easy for me to get supplies. Our first activity was a worm compost bin. The kids had a great time putting it together and seeing the worms. I took the worm bin home and told the kids that I’d bring it back every week. The only issue is that the worms keep escaping and dying and I’m not entirely sure why."

Journal # 2

"I’m most excited for March because I really want to show the kids how they can make a difference in their own homes. A lot of them have been asking me what they can do to make a change and help the environment, which is why I implemented the Weekly Challenges. Not all of my students have been interested in the Weekly Challenges, so I think I’m going to have to make them more exciting and adventurous for the upcoming sessions."
